Lithuanians celebrate the Feast of Saint John, referred to as "Jonines," at the Lithuanian Country Club in Jefferson, Pa. Lithuanians were among the last pagan tribes in Europe to convert to Christianity. The Feast of Saint John was a Christian counter to the pagan Midsummer Night celebrations.
