How can we, the proud people of Mongolia, enrich ourselves?
Please accept and temporarily store our Japanese nuclear waste.
But isn’t that stuff dangerous, and doesn’t it last a hundred thousand years?
Plutonium is as toxic as taking too much vitamin C, and while our waste lasts a long time, there are no independently verified studies showing that they cause ill-health.
Why don’t you just keep it yourselves, there in Japan?
Because we want to spread economic happiness throughout Asia and support our brothers and sisters in countries like Mongolia.
So how much are you willing to pay? As Monty Hall might say, “Let’s make a deal.”
