This New Scientist article’s first sentence: The world’s most-wanted particle continues to elude the world’s most powerful particle accelerator.
It assumes such a particle, the Higgs Boson, exists. Just as the matter that makes matter matter supposedly exists, our UN-approved education, also says a guy in a cave orchestrated 9/11; that there is no alternative to usury; that studying the Classics and Sacred Geometry is for queers; that carbon dioxide is Earth’s Public Enemy Number One…
I’m reminded of a line from Sri Aurobindo’s Savitri:
All is too little that the world can give.
Its power and knowledge are the gifts of Time,
And cannot satisfy the Spirit’s sacred thirst.
Just as those who think they’ll discover the meaning of our their lives by becoming rich and famous, or by going shopping every weekend, are deluded, the folks at the Large Hadron Collider will never find what they’re looking for because the world is built on Oneness, not basic building blocks. That’s why this place is called “universe”, that which is turned into one.
