Eye went to the Osaka Akhenaten/Tut exhibition last week and highly recommend it for fans of Ancient Egypt. You will probably have to wait in line for an hour or so; less so as you get closer to closing time.
King Tut is the famous glittery boy. But in my mind, the star of the Osaka show is Pharoah Akhenaten
portrayed in the above YouTube one, towards the end, as a religious fanatic.
But was he?
That history quickly forgets about this man immediately after he dies raises the possibility of the opposite–that he was one of the greatest men to ever have lived.
Outdoor temples–eye’m all for that Pharoah because there is only One King:
the Sun of God.
